A new day

It’s been a long time since I’ve created a blog post. There are lots of reasons, including the Great Tumblr Purge, prioritizing posting on Instagram over my own blogging platform, and a lot of changes in life, such as moving to Houston. It’s time for another change, though.

Now that I’m migrating my website from Squarespace 7.0 to 7.1, and considering the many limitations of Instagram (including censorship and a hostile algorithm), it makes sense to make a fresh start with blogging. I have to admit that I’m also inspired by a few folks who seem to consistently post on platforms like Substack. We’ll start here, for now, and see where it goes.
